Murray Darling 110 – Ted Hurley Ski Race: Late January 2024
This race takes place in two rivers starting in the Darling River in Wentworth and ending in the Murray River at Apex Park, Mildura.
Wentworth Winedown: February
This year’s event was incredible and we’re waiting to hear if there’ll be one for 2024.
Wentworth Winedown has been moved to a new location – a hidden gem within the Shire! Enjoy a day in the garden – the Australian Inland Botanic Gardens Mildura-Wentworth. Located just outside of Buronga. This event will celebrate the region’s great produce, food and wine with a backdrop of some of Australia’s best young artists.
Mildura 100: April
The fastest ski race in the world! This event is a highlight on the racing calendar and one of the longest ski races in Australia.
Mildura Writers Festival: July
The Mildura Writers Festival presents three days of words, food and wine featuring Australian and international writers.
Mildura Cup: 26 July 2024
Enjoy all country racing has to offer at one of Victoria’s premier race tracks located in the heartland of Victoria’s thoroughbred country in an intimate setting, with sweeping views of the course.
Mildura Wentworth Music Festival: September/October, 2023

Mildura Show: 19-21 October 2023
Great fun for the kids, rides and attractions, petting zoo, show animals, traditional domestic, exotic and farm animals. Traditional exhibits, cooking, art, craft and botanical shows.
Goanna Run Mildura: October 2023
The Goanna Run Mildura event continues to grow each year. As well as Street Rod & Custom Cars, it incorporates exciting lifestyle aspects including rockabilly, rock ‘n’ roll, fashion and art.

50th Australian Van Nationals Mildura: 17-20 April 2025
In the late 1970’s the first four Australian Van Nationals were held in Mildura. It’s now coming home to Mildura for an iconic 50th event in 2025.
